Cancel items and tasks that cannot be completed successfully
Items and tasks have a "canceled" status. This status should be used to handle a number of situations that prevent the tasks to be successfully completed. This includes:
- Requests by mistakes
- Duplicate requests
- Requests that are denied by the lab manager
- Orders that were canceled because of shipping delays
- Experiments that failed because of operational mistakes that prevent the collection of useful data.
